About Me

My photo
RidgeRyder
Equus Quest began with an idea to study the horse cultures of the world. Study the behavior and response to cues of horses from around the world and to discover how the role of the horse and nomadic society is changing in the face of modernization and globalization. Equus Quest took myself and my companion Jay Harris on a 12 month, 11 country journey to engage with horse societies around the world. I learned much from the nomadic horse peoples of the world and now I would like to share images from that journey with the modern world. Equus Quest was possible because of the generosity and vision of the Thomas J. Watson Foundation. Thank you for believing in me.
